Charlotte Terray

Since a young age hairdressing has been my passion. I used to spend a lot of time at my Grandma’s hairdressing salons giving my dolls all sorts of styles and colours. But in the end it was working for Eva in the winter of 2004 in rue des Moulins, at Le Salon Chamonix France that made my mind up for sure that I wanted to become a hairdresser. I returned to Australia and started my apprenticeship at an Aveda salon in Brighton. As soon as I qualified I headed back to Chamonix where my father lives to work again in Le Salon. This broadened my skills and love for hairdressing amazingly. Now I have come to open Le Salon Melbourne here in Australia!

I love being able to be creative and make people feel and look great. I enjoy all aspects of doing hair, colours, blow waves, mens and ladies cuts, permanent styling. I love learning new techniques and ideas and seeing how each individual hairdresser has their own approach. I have also completed a Diploma of Interior Design. I love all things arty and crafty, making and designing my own clothes, knitting, photography etc. I love being surrounded by the mountains but I have decided to settle by the sea. I am delighted to have my mother, Melissa Drummond, to assist me at Le Salon… a real family business!

I have been in the beauty industry for 16 years and am amazed at how much it has grown.

I travelled through Europe for four years, working in spa retreats as a Beauty Therapist. It was a great opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of the spa industry.

I have learnt a lot along the way and I enjoy pampering people and making them feel relaxed and of course beautiful! I strive to be the best that I can be and feel rewarded with my work, as I am very passionate about it.

Leah Frazier

After 10 years of hairdressing and pursuing my love of make up I have been working in the television industry but after many long hours and muddy location shoots I have decided that the salon is the place for me. I am looking forward to working with Charlotte at Le Salon Sandringham.
